Additional tickets available for Donald Trump’s Bismarck speech

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — An oil industry group is making more tickets available for a conference headlined by Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump.

The Williston Basin Petroleum Conference is scheduled May 24-26 at the Bismarck Event Center. The North Dakota Petroleum Council says Trump will speak at 1 p.m. on May 26.

Council spokeswoman Tessa Sandstrom says up to 700 tickets will go on sale Thursday morning at $30 each and no more than two per person. The first round of 3,780 tickets sold out.

Trump’s address is included in the expo’s $400 registration and about 2,300 people had registered by Tuesday afternoon. Sandstrom expects up to 600 walk-ups to the conference.

Sandstrom says the facility seats about 7,500 and more tickets could be made available the day of Trump’s speech, if space remains.
