Anadarko Wolf Camp opens in West Texas

The first worker arrived at the new Anadarko Wolf Camp last week in Loving County, Texas.

The 77,180-square-foot facility, built by Target Logistics, is exclusive to Anadarko employees and contractors.

The Wolf Camp goes against the perception of crew camps turning into ghost towns. While oil and gas companies have cut billions of dollars from their budgets, Anadarko remained willing to invest in its employees.

The new facility gives Anadarko the flexibility to expand support of potential growth and future activities in the Delaware Basin.

“The Anadarko Wolf Camp provides top-quality accommodations for our employees and contractors, which enhances safety, reduces truck traffic, and helps ensure the people we depend upon the most are well fed and well rested,” Danny Brown, vice president of Southern and Appalachia Operations for Anadarko said.

The man camp features 220 bedrooms with private bathrooms, a 24-hour dining room, a recreation building, housekeeping services, self-service laundry, a commissary, 24-hour security and controlled access entry.

The complex contains 30 offices and multiple conference rooms. The Wolf Camp will also serve as a satellite office for field operators and engineers.

Target Logistics, the largest turnkey workforce housing provider in the United States, owns and operates the facility.
