Police: $43,000 worth of drugs seized in Minot investigation

MINOT, N.D. — Authorities say they’ve seized about $43,000 worth of drugs during an investigation in Minot.

Minot police say authorities found nearly 7 pounds of marijuana after searching a package held by a local courier. KXMC-TV reports police later served a search warrant on a Minot home and arrested 23-year-old Cameron Morris and 20-year-old Ashlee Morris.

Charges against Cameron Morris include possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance. Online court records say an initial court appearance was scheduled for Wednesday.

Police say Ashlee Morris is charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

It was not immediately clear if the suspects have attorneys.
