Patrol: Washington man dies in North Dakota crash

KILLDEER, N.D. — North Dakota officials say a 24-year-old man from the state of Washington has died in a crash with a semitrailer.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said Sunday that Christopher Parker of Lake Stevens, Washington, died in the Saturday crash near Killdeer.

Authorities say Parker was a passenger in a pickup truck that went off the road on Highway 200. The pickup driver over-corrected the vehicle and went into the semitrailer’s path. The semitrailer’s driver tried to slow down, but hit the rear passenger side of the pickup. Both vehicles went off the road.
