The next fast-food chain in Williston

Construction has begun on a Culver’s near the Buffalo Wild Wings on Reiger Dr. in Williston. The fast-food chain is based out of Wisconsin and specializes in ButterBurgers and frozen custard. This is the fourth Culvers to open in North Dakota and the first one in a boomtown. The founders of the chain hope to reach families working in western North Dakota.

The Williston Herald reported that Mayor Howard Klug said, “This is the kind of restaurant that we’re looking for.” Culvers plans to hire 100 employees and start them at $11-$12 per hour upon its opening next year. Williston’s economic development has been booming along with its population. The city also recently announced the construction of a Menards. Sadly, many of the rumors of Williston getting a Starbucks have recently been debunked.
