Coast Guard: Fire on gulf oil platform; 28 evacuated

NEW ORLEANS — The Coast Guard says 28 workers were evacuated from an oil production platform off Louisiana’s coast after a fire broke out. Vanguard Natural Resources to acquire Eagle Rock Energy


HOUSTON — Vanguard Natural Resources LLC will acquire Eagle Rock Energy Partners LP in a $474 million deal. The agreement was announced Thursday by the Houston-based companies.
