Public hearing scheduled for Bakken pipeline

Next week the North Dakota Public Service Commission will host a public hearing regarding a proposed Bakken crude oil pipeline in Billings and Stark counties, reports the Forum News Service.

The $10.4 million project, proposed by Bridger Pipeline LLC, would involve the construction of a new 15-mile crude oil pipeline. Running parallel to an existing Bridger owned and operated pipeline, the 16-inch transmission line would increase the capacity of the network to 125,000 barrels of crude per day.

The public hearing will give the public an opportunity to comment on the proposed project. The meeting will take place on Thursday, July 9, at 9 a.m. It will be located at Belfield City Hall, 107 Second Avenue North East. For additional information, contact the North Dakota Public Service Commission at 701-328-2400 or visit the commission’s website at www.psc.nd.gov.
