BISMARCK, N.D. — State Health Department officials have lifted a boil order for tap water in Fortuna, Columbus and Noonan, but the order remains in place for Crosby.
Residents of the communities in Divide and Burke counties were told on March 15 to boil tap water or use bottled water after a break in a Western Area Water Supply Authority pipeline.
The problem has been fixed, and health officials say test results show that the water is safe to drink in Fortuna, Columbus and Noonan. Test results are pending for Crosby’s water.
