The Houston Business Journal reports that Halliburton has promoted its current vice president and chief operating officer Jeff Miller to the position of president. The company believes that the move will complement the leadership of its current chief executive officer and chairman Dave Lesar.
In a press release, Lesar commented:
“I have known and worked with Jeff for over 25 years and am absolutely confident he will excel in his new role. Jeff is a proven leader who will continue to help guide the strategic direction of Halliburton to assure superior service to our customers and robust returns to our shareholders. In my continuing role as chairman and CEO, I look forward to working with Jeff for the next several years.”
Miller began his career with Halliburton in 1997 and has served as executive vice president and COO since 2012. He has worked with the company’s senior management team to develop and execute operational strategies, aligning them with short and long term goals.
