The North Dakota Petroleum Council has announced the dates of this year’s “Pick up the Patch!” litter cleanup events.
The events are hosted by energy companies in Oil Patch communities.
“Our members are invested in our communities, and we want to support them and help make a positive impact in any way we can,” Alexis Brinkman, government affairs manager for the NDPC, said in a press release. “Many of the challenges in western North Dakota, such as housing and traffic, will take time, but this is a way we can make an immediate impact in our cities while also building relationships with community leaders and community members.”
In Dickinson, the event will be hosted by Marathon Oil on Thursday, May 8. Volunteers are asked to check in at Marathon Oil’s Dickinson North office for water, gloves, vests and an assigned route. Contact Sofia Menses at 701-456-7506 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
